§1Intended Audience
Food ALERT is a business and nonprofit food-recovery platform intended for authorized representatives of donor organizations, nonprofit recipients, operations teams, dispatchers, and drivers. It is not a consumer app and is not designed for children.
Account holders must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where they live, and must have authority to act for their organization.
§2Content and Features
The app supports operational food-donation work and may include:
- photos and descriptions of donated food;
- organization and pickup-location information;
- maps, route planning, and location services;
- camera access for intake, quality, and pickup documentation; and
- messages between participating organizations and their authorized personnel.
Food ALERT does not intentionally provide mature entertainment, gambling, dating, sexual content, graphic violence, or other content directed to minors. Because authorized users can submit operational text and images, organizations should supervise access to their accounts and devices.
§3Children and Account Access
The platform is not directed to children under 13, and Food ALERT does not knowingly collect their personal information. A minor should not create or use an account. If you believe a child has accessed the platform or provided personal information, contact us at contact@foodalertgo.com.
